Over the years, our Content team has developed a deep expertise in Wisconsin's academic standards, graduation requirements, and assessments. We've summarized the considerations that have guided our product development below.
Wisconsin uses the Wisconsin Academic Standards for all core subjects. ELA and Math standards are CCSS-based with Wisconsin revisions; Science follows an NGSS-aligned framework.
Wisconsin assesses students through the Wisconsin Forward Exam in Grades 3–8, the PreACT® Secure in Grades 9–10, and The ACT® with writing in Grade 11. The PreACT® Secure and ACT® are required and state-funded for all students.

ELA & Math: Grades 3–8 (Wisconsin Forward Exam).
Science: Grades 4 and 8 (Wisconsin Forward Science).

Wisconsin requires a baseline of 15.5 core credits for graduation, including 4 ELA, 3 Math, 3 Science, 3 Social Studies, 1.5 Phys Ed, 0.5 Health, and 0.5 Personal Financial Literacy (for the Class of 2028 and beyond). Students must pass a Civics test to graduate.

Albert Adaptive is a fun and easy way to integrate ACT® practice and grammar practice into daily lessons. You can pick topics for any grade level or subject, which makes it a real one-stop shop for my ELA classroom.
Albert makes practicing so much easier than pen and paper. If a student is absent, they can still complete their Albert assignment at home. My juniors love the ACT® prep; they feel ready walking into the test.
As a new APUSH teacher I was unsure about my ability to prepare my students for the specifics of the AP® exam. I found Albert and decided to pilot the program at my school. My students answered over 51,000 questions in preparation for the exam. My pass rate went from 44.7% to 64.2% and I had 12 students earn 5s. My students scored above state and local averages in every single multiple choice category. Albert may not be the only tool that led to our success, but it was definitely a game changer.
I love using Albert.io to prepare my AP® Spanish Language and AP® Spanish Literature students for their respective exams.
