Over the years, our Content team has developed a deep expertise in Pennsylvania’s academic standards, graduation requirements, and assessments. We’ve summarized the considerations that have guided our product development below.
Pennsylvania adopted the Pennsylvania Core Standards in 2014, aligning with Common Core rigor while adding state-specific modifications. Albert’s question banks map closely to all three Keystone Exams—Algebra I, Literature, and Biology—and to the PSSA for ELA, Math, and Science in grades 3–8.

ELA & Math: Grades 3–8 (PSSA).
Science: Grades 5 & 8 (PSSA Science).
Keystone Exams: Algebra I, Literature, and Biology (graduation pathway).
SAT® and ACT®: Accepted as alternative graduation pathways.
PSAT®: Optional benchmark in grades 8–10.

Pennsylvania students must earn local credits and demonstrate proficiency through one of five graduation pathways, including Keystone Exams, alternative assessments, or CTE pathways.

Keystone Exam practice in Algebra I, Literature, and Biology—mapped directly to graduation-required content.
SAT® and ACT® prep as alternative pathways.
PSSA-aligned practice from grade 3—building the foundation for Keystone success.

As an AP® Psychology teacher at Neshaminy High School, my students have had great success using Albert.io as a resource to prepare for our unit exams and to support difficult concepts. After every unit, my students have a review/work day where they collaborate with classmates to review question after question, and they have found it invaluable for both preparation and reinforcement.
Albert is being used in my math classroom as a tool to reinforce what we’re learning through practice and review. Students can work at their own pace, and the depth of the question library gives me the flexibility to target exactly what each class needs.
I love how Albert is customizable to meet my students' needs. Instant feedback leads to instant learning. It has allowed teachers to recognize student weaknesses, allowing for strategic curriculum planning and facilitated student growth.
From 9th grade Honors ELA students to 12th grade AP® Lit students, I have found something relevant and rigorous for all of my students. It has been a game-changer for differentiated instruction.
I love Albert! I use Albert to create unit assessments for AP® World Modern. The content, exam format, and question format help prepare my students for the AP® World Modern exam.

Students who independently prepared with Albert’s AP® Question Banks consistently outperformed national AP® averages in 2024 and 2025, driven by sustained, high-volume practice.
