Over the years, our Content team has developed a deep expertise in Mississippi's academic standards, graduation requirements, and assessments. We've summarized the considerations that have guided our product development below.
Mississippi uses the Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards (MS CCRS) for ELA and Math (based on Common Core with state revisions) and the MS CCRS for Science (NGSS-aligned).
Mississippi assesses students through MAAP in Grades 3–8 and MAAP EOC in high school. To graduate, students must meet accountability requirements for EOC exams in Algebra I, English II, Biology, and U.S. History, either by passing the tests or through the state's approved concordance/alternate options. The ACT® is required for all 11th graders.

As a new APUSH teacher, I was unsure about my ability to prepare my students for the specifics of the AP® exam. I found Albert and decided to pilot the program at my school. My students answered over 51,000 questions in preparation for the exam. My pass rate rose from 44.7% to 64.2%, and 12 students earned 5s. My students scored above state and local averages in every single multiple-choice category. Albert may not be the only tool that led to our success, but it was definitely a game-changer.
I love using Albert.io to prepare my AP® Spanish Language and AP® Spanish Literature students for their respective exams. It has been a huge time saver, allowing me to spend more time preparing my lessons rather than creating assessments. It provides a wide variety of topics to choose from, making it easy to pick something similar to what my students have been studying. Creating assessments and viewing student data is a breeze. Additionally, I especially love the automatic feedback given to students. I regularly recommend Albert.io to colleagues around the country.
Albert is being used in my math classroom as a tool to reinforce what we’re learning through practice and review. Topics align with our lessons and students complete questions to build their skills. Albert provides instant feedback, which helps them understand their mistakes and learn from them. It’s also used to track progress and prepare for upcoming tests. The platform provides real-time insights into student performance, allowing me to identify which concepts individual students are struggling with and which concepts the whole class may need to revisit.
From 9th-grade Honors ELA students to 12th-grade AP® Lit students, I have found something relevant and rigorous for all of my students. The preparation that Albert provides for AP® students and their exams is invaluable. AP® instructors are always searching for quality materials to help students prepare for their exams. Albert has been my go-to resource for the past three years. It is easy to use and navigate. The students find the content challenging and the answer explanations insightful. Albert is a great resource for teachers and students to use and grow in our educational experience.
I love using Albert in my classroom for a quick review of Chemistry topics and Science ACT® prep. It makes preparing for my classes easy and effortless. My students have especially benefited from practicing Science ACT®. I love tracking their progress and seeing how they improve. I would recommend Albert to any educator.
The program is very user-friendly and the data it provides plays a major role in supporting the learning process. My AP® Psychology students love the feature that allows them to check their results after each question. I don’t use Albert as a grade based on accuracy — I score students based on effort and completion. This allows them to do their best and grow from the questions they get wrong without pressure to cheat. The testing effect is a proven benefit to boosting long-term memory, and Albert provides a great resource for their growth. The ability to evaluate trends on assessments has been extremely valuable.

Students who independently prepared with Albert’s AP® Question Banks consistently outperformed national AP® averages in 2024 and 2025, driven by sustained, high-volume practice.
